Witherslack Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader for our Children’s Homes located in Fulbrook, Burford. This is a full-time opportunity offering a salary of £39,820 per year, with potential additional earnings associated with attendance and sleep-in shifts.
Working in our Children’s Homes means becoming an integral part of a young person’s day-to-day life. You will be there for the highest highs and the lowest lows, helping our young people navigate challenges and celebrate successes. In this incredibly rewarding role, you will enable children in your care to get their childhood back and create positive pathways to become well-rounded adults.
As a Team Leader, your core responsibilities will typically include:
- Guiding and supporting daily routines within the home to create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment.
- Mentoring and supporting support workers and care staff to ensure high standards of care are consistently met.
- Engaging directly with young people to build trusting relationships and support their emotional and social development.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, educational staff, and families to support individual care plans.
- Participating in shift patterns, which may include undertaking sleep-in duties as required.
