We are currently seeking a dedicated professional for an ongoing, full-time Team Leader, Resorts (Clerk Grade 9/10) role located at the beautiful township of Jindabyne and working around the alpine resorts of Kosciuszko National Park.
About the Role: The National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for a Team Leader to join our dynamic operations. In this key position, you will guide and support a committed team, overseeing daily operations and contributing to the effective management and enhancement of our iconic alpine environments and visitor experiences.
The total employment package includes a competitive salary range of $129,464 to $142,665, plus the employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Leading, coaching, and supervising team members to achieve operational goals and service delivery standards.
- Coordinating day-to-day activities and projects within the alpine resorts and surrounding national park areas.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support community engagement, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship.
- Managing resources effectively and contributing to strategic planning and policy implementation.
- Ensuring workplace health and safety protocols are strictly followed across all operational sites.
To be successful, you will bring strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage complex operations in a unique or sensitive environment. Experience working within government, public lands, or resort management contexts will be highly regarded.
