AsureQuality is currently seeking three dedicated Technicians to join the Sample Reception department on a fixed-term basis for 6 to 9 months to support our upcoming Dairy Season. Based at our Lynfield Laboratory, you will have the opportunity to be part of the largest food testing laboratory in the Southern Hemisphere, contributing to vital quality assurance processes in the food and primary production sectors.
In this role, you will play an essential part in the initial stages of sample processing. Because our laboratory operates 7 days a week, successful candidates must be flexible and prepared to work rostered shifts between the hours of 6:00 am and 8:30 pm. Please note that most team members are required to include at least one weekend day in their standard roster.
Key responsibilities for the Technician – Sample Reception position include:
- Unpacking and checking in incoming samples efficiently and accurately
- Sorting, organizing, and preparing samples for laboratory testing
- Ensuring all handling and tracking procedures adhere to company standards and protocols
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized reception and workspace
- Collaborating effectively with laboratory team members to manage high-volume workloads during peak season
