Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is currently seeking applications for a Temporary Staff Specialist in Geriatric Medicine based in Gosford, offering a part-time employment opportunity within the Central Coast NSW region.
In this role, you will provide expert medical care and specialist services in geriatric medicine, contributing to patient outcomes and supporting multidisciplinary healthcare teams within the district. You will engage in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of older patients, ensuring high standards of evidence-based medical practice and patient safety.
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold qualifications as a medical practitioner eligible for registration in New South Wales.
- Be a Fellow of the Royal Australian/Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and/or possess other appropriate specialist recognition as provided for in the relevant Staff Specialist determination.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise and a commitment to high-quality healthcare delivery within geriatric medicine.
Salary and employment conditions for this temporary part-time position are in accordance with the Staff Specialist (State) Award.
