Witherslack Group is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis, working 4 days per week across two of our specialized children’s homes in The Headland, Hartlepool. Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Providing professional therapeutic assessments, interventions, and support tailored to the individual needs of children and young people.
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including education and residential care staff, to ensure a joined-up approach to care and development.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and contributing to regular progress reviews and care planning meetings.
- Applying specialized therapeutic techniques to support young people through complex emotional and behavioral challenges.
To be successful in this position, candidates should possess relevant professional qualifications and registration within their therapeutic field. While not strictly mandatory, a strong working knowledge of sexual trauma, including Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE), is considered highly desirable for this role. You should also bring a patient, empathetic approach and a strong commitment to improving outcomes for children in residential care.
