Changi Transport Private Limited is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced professional for a full-time Transport Company Manager position based in the Newcastle Area and Newcastle Region. Established in 2022, Changi Transport Private Limited is a growing logistics and transportation company operating across Australia, committed to providing reliable, transparent, and efficient transport services nationwide. The company delivers comprehensive interstate logistics solutions, supported by a fleet of more than 27 trucks and vans and modern warehouse facilities, and specialises in the safe and timely transportation of goods.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily transport and logistics operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and high standards of customer service. You will work closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and administrative personnel to coordinate schedules, manage fleet movements, and maintain compliance with relevant industry regulations and company policies.
Key responsibilities for the Transport Company Manager include:
- Managing day-to-day transport operations and fleet logistics across the Newcastle Region and interstate routes.
- Supervising and supporting a team of drivers and operational staff to ensure productivity and adherence to safety standards.
- Optimising delivery routes and schedules to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Monitoring vehicle maintenance schedules and ensuring the fleet of trucks and vans remains in optimal working condition.
- Resolving any operational issues, client inquiries, or transit delays promptly and professionally.
- Ensuring full compliance with all relevant transport, safety, and workplace health and safety regulations.
This is a full-time position offering an annual salary of A$80,000.
