Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment at a healthcare facility in Lawrence, Massachusetts. This full-time contract role offers an annualized compensation of $108,704 and the opportunity to work with a supportive clinical team while delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic setting.
As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will evaluate and treat patients with a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions. Typical responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, administering therapeutic exercises and manual techniques, documenting progress in electronic medical records, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to optimize outcomes. You may also provide patient education, discharge planning, and supervision of support staff as needed.
Required qualifications include a current Physical Therapist license valid in Massachusetts (or eligibility for licensure by endorsement), graduation from an accredited PT program, and current BLS/CPR certification. Prior acute care, outpatient, or skilled nursing experience is preferred, and travel or per diem experience is a plus. Strong clinical reasoning, communication skills, and adaptability to new environments are essential.
