This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary of A$79,800 per year plus superannuation. As a Truck Driver with our company, your daily responsibilities will generally involve the safe and efficient operation of heavy vehicles to transport goods to various destinations. Typical duties associated with this role include:
- Operating heavy rigid (HR) trucks and other commercial vehicles in a safe, professional, and compliant manner.
- Conducting thorough pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Loading, securing, and unloading freight securely and efficiently in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Planning delivery routes and maintaining accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and compliance records.
- Communicating professionally with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure smooth delivery processes.
- Adhering strictly to all relevant road transport laws, regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
