This is a full-time, over-the-road (OTR) Dry Van position based in Capitol, Richmond. We are looking for a qualified driver with a minimum of six months of verified experience to join our dedicated fleet. As a Truck Driver with Pam Transport, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial motor vehicle and transporting dry van freight across regional and long-haul routes. Your commitment to on-time delivery and careful handling of cargo is essential to keeping our supply chain moving smoothly.
In this role, you will perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Hours of Service requirements, and maintain accurate trip logs and documentation. You will also be expected to communicate professionally with dispatch, shippers, and receivers at every stop along your route.
- CDL-A license required with a clean driving record
- Minimum six months of OTR or equivalent truck driving experience
- Over-the-road Dry Van hauling
- Weekly compensation of $1,500, equating to an annual salary of $78,000
- Full-time employment with consistent routing opportunities
- Willingness to be away from home for extended periods as part of an OTR schedule
