We are currently seeking a dedicated Truck Operator to join our team at the Caval Ridge operation. Located in the Moranbah and Isaac Area, this is a permanent full-time opportunity for motivated individuals looking to advance their career in production mining.
As a Truck Operator, you will play a crucial role in our on-site production activities, ensuring the safe and efficient hauling of materials across the operation. Your daily responsibilities will naturally align with standard open-cut mining practices and site safety protocols.
Key responsibilities and duties in this role typically include:
- Operating large mechanical haul trucks safely and efficiently within an active open-cut mining environment.
- Conducting thorough pre-start and post-operational checks on equipment to identify and report any maintenance issues.
- Complying strictly with all site health, safety, environment, and quality standards.
- Communicating effectively with other operators, supervisors, and pit crew members via two-way radio.
- Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and operational excellence.
What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
- Demonstrated experience operating mechanical haul trucks or similar heavy mobile equipment in a mining environment.
- A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and following operational procedures.
- The ability to adapt to changing site conditions and work effectively as part of a larger production team.
- A valid driver’s licence and the ability to meet all site-specific onboarding and medical requirements.
