Witherslack Group is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Upper Key-Stage 2 Primary Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis, located in Mitcham Junction, Mitcham. This role comes with a starting salary of £38,225 per year and offers an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people.
As an Upper Key-Stage 2 Primary Teacher at Witherslack Group, you will be part of an environment where our teachers are fulfilled by the idea of making even the smallest positive changes in our young people. Your role will be instrumental in guiding and supporting students through these crucial developmental stages.
Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and tailored lessons suited to Upper Key-Stage 2 students.
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and personal growth.
- Monitoring, assessing, and recording student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents or guardians to ensure comprehensive student development and well-being.
- Celebrating the achievements of students, no matter how small, and fostering a culture of resilience and success.
