ForHealth Group (Health & Co) is currently seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Enrolled Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis in East Bowral, located within the Bowral area. In this part-time nursing role, you will play an essential part in supporting our urgent care services. While specific day-to-day duties align with standard clinical and practice nursing standards, you will work closely with our healthcare team to deliver responsive, patient-centred care. Your responsibilities will typically include:
- Assisting medical practitioners with urgent assessments, procedures, and patient monitoring.
- Providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients presenting with acute or unexpected health needs.
- Administering treatments, medications, and immunizations in accordance with clinical guidelines and nursing scope of practice.
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date patient records and clinical documentation within our practice management systems.
- Ensuring treatment rooms and urgent care areas are fully stocked, clean, and prepared for patient arrivals.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure smooth patient flow and care coordination.
To be successful in this position, you must hold current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA). Experience working within a general practice, urgent care, or similar clinical setting is highly regarded.
