Optum WA, formerly known as The Everett Clinic, is seeking a dedicated Urology Nurse Practitioner or Urology Physician Assistant to join our growing team in Everett and Arlington, Washington. As part of our clinician-led care organization, you will be empowered to make healthcare better for patients while enjoying a collaborative and supportive work environment.

In this role, you will be part of a team featuring 3 Urologists and 1 APC Urologist, with access to two XI DaVinci Robots. Surgical cases are performed at ambulatory surgery centers in Everett, Edmonds, and Arlington, with inpatient care managed at Providence. We offer flexible scheduling options, including a 4-day workweek, shared community call responsibilities, and robust support staff including 1:1 Medical Assistant support and floating RNs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage adult patients requiring general urology care using evidence-based practices and current standards of care.
  • Provide clear education and counseling to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation utilizing the Epic EMR system with DAX AI integration.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with physicians, staff, and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Uphold professional ethical principles regarding patient confidentiality, informed consent, and safety standards.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, committee work, and ongoing educational opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.
  • Current national certification as an NP (ANCC or AANP) or PA (NCCPA).
  • Unrestricted Washington State license as an NP or PA, or the ability to obtain prior to the start of employment.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Preferred candidates bring prior experience in urology, a related surgical specialty, or an ambulatory surgery center environment, and must be open to handling a broad range of general urology cases.

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $110,000 to $166,500, with total cash compensation including base pay and bonus opportunities based on factors such as experience, education, and performance.
