Urology Physician Assistant – Optum Clinic

Optum WA (formerly The Everett Clinic) is seeking a dedicated Urology Nurse Practitioner or Urology Physician Assistant to join our collaborative care team in Everett or Arlington, WA. In this general urology practice serving patients of all sexes, you will work alongside a team of experienced urologists and advanced practice clinicians. The role features flexible scheduling options, including a potential four-day workweek, shared community call responsibilities, and robust support systems including 1:1 Medical Assistant assistance and Epic EMR with DAX AI integration.

Primary responsibilities for this position include:

• Diagnosing, treating, and managing patients using evidence-based practices and current standards of care.
• Providing clear education and counseling to patients and their families.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Communicating effectively with physicians, staff, and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Upholding high ethical principles regarding confidentiality, informed consent, and patient safety.
• Participating in departmental meetings, committees, and ongoing educational opportunities.

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $110,000 to $166,500, with total cash compensation including base pay and bonus based on factors such as experience, education, local labor markets, and performance. Required qualifications include:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.
• Current national certification as an NP (ANCC or AANP) or PA (NCCPA).
• Unrestricted Washington State license as an NP or PA, or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
• Current BLS certification.

Preferred qualifications include prior experience in an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) environment and previous experience working in urology or a related surgical specialty.
