Halfords, the UK’s largest automotive service, maintenance, and repair business, is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Service Technician to join the team at our Artington, Guildford location. This is a full-time position working 5 days a week, with the added benefit that this centre is closed on Sundays, supporting a great work-life balance.
In this role, you will play an essential part in keeping our customers moving safely by carrying out a range of servicing, maintenance, and repair tasks on various makes and models of vehicles. Working within a busy workshop environment, your responsibilities will naturally include diagnosing faults, performing routine vehicle servicing, replacing parts such as tyres, brakes, and exhausts, and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard of safety and quality.
We are offering a competitive financial package to reward your expertise and hard work:
- Base salary of £32,500 per year
- On-target earnings of up to £37,000 per year
- An uncapped monthly bonus scheme, delivering average additional earnings of £4,500 per year
