Halfords, the UK’s largest automotive service, maintenance, and repair business, is currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team on a full-time basis in Warmingham, Crewe. In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking a variety of service, maintenance, and repair tasks on customer vehicles. As a core member of our workshop team, you will ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality, diagnosing faults efficiently and communicating effectively with colleagues and customers alike.
We are offering a competitive base salary of £31,480 to £36,620 per year, with on-target earnings reaching up to £42,420 per year. This total package includes participation in our uncapped monthly bonus scheme, which yields average additional earnings of £5,800 per year. You will work a standard five-day week, and an added benefit is that this centre is closed on Sundays, allowing for a better work-life balance.

Key responsibilities for the Vehicle Technician include:
- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Accurately diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Replacing components and parts in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company guidelines
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized working environment in the workshop
- Delivering exceptional customer service by explaining technical work clearly and professionally
