We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Video Editor to join our dynamic team based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. In this role, you will play a crucial part in bringing our stories to life through compelling visual media, working closely with journalists and content creators to produce engaging digital video content for our audiences.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Editing raw video footage and assembling recorded material into a polished, finished product suitable for digital platforms and news broadcasts.
- Collaborating with reporters, producers, and the editorial team to understand project requirements and storytelling objectives.
- Cutting clips, adding music, graphics, and sound effects to enhance the overall quality and impact of the video content.
- Ensuring that all video projects align with the brand standards and journalistic integrity of The New Indian Express Group.
- Managing and organizing video assets efficiently to meet daily publishing deadlines in a fast-paced news environment.
