In this role, you will be based in our Customer Contact Centre, serving as a primary point of contact for our customers. You will handle inquiries, provide helpful and empathetic support, and guide individuals through various housing-related services. Starting as a Customer Service Advisor, you will gain valuable experience and exposure to a world of knowledge and opportunities within the housing sector, all while contributing to our mission of creating sustainable and inclusive communities.
We are looking for applicants who possess strong communication skills, a professional telephone manner, and a genuine passion for helping others. While previous customer service experience is advantageous, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential. Responsibilities for this part-time weekend role typically include:
- Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other digital channels in a timely and professional manner
- Accurately recording customer details and updating internal systems with relevant information
- Navigating various database systems to provide accurate advice regarding housing management and maintenance services
- Collaborating with team members and other departments to resolve customer queries effectively
- Delivering a high standard of customer service that aligns with the values and standards of Places for People
