BAE Systems is currently seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Glasgow, Scotland. This is an onsite opportunity operating across our Govan and Scotstoun locations, where you will play a key role in supporting our engineering and manufacturing operations. Please note that candidates must be able to attend a recruitment day in Glasgow as part of the hiring process.
As a Welder with BAE Systems, your day-to-day responsibilities will typically involve working from engineering drawings and technical specifications to produce high-standard welds. You will be expected to prepare materials, operate welding equipment safely and efficiently, and ensure that all completed work meets the rigorous quality standards required in our industry.
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be able to attend an onsite recruitment day in Glasgow.
- Must provide a Modern Apprenticeship certificate or relevant trade papers upon submitting your application.
- Demonstrated professional experience in a welding environment, with the ability to interpret technical instructions and drawings.
This role offers a competitive salary of £35,714 per year. Shift patterns and associated allowances may apply depending on operational requirements.
