Windscreens Territory is seeking a dedicated and skilled Window Tinter/Autoglazier to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis in the Northern Territory, Australia. This position offers a competitive salary range of A$74,880 to A$95,680 per year (equivalent to $36 to $46 per hour), based in Coconut Grove.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for delivering quality automotive glass services and window tinting to our valued customers. We are looking for a professional who takes pride in their workmanship and can manage customer interactions effectively from initial assessment through to job completion.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Evaluating the condition of vehicle windscreens, side windows, and rear glass to determine the most appropriate repair or replacement method.
- Discusses available repair and replacement options with customers, providing professional recommendations based on the extent of the damage.
- Safely removes damaged or shattered automotive glass using specialized tools and techniques.
- Prepares vehicle frames and installs new windscreens and automotive glass with precision and care.
- Applies window tinting films to vehicle windows in accordance with quality standards and relevant regulations.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and organized workspace within the workshop environment.
- Ensures all tools and equipment are properly maintained and handled safely.
