Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional for a Womenswear Merchant – maternity leave contract. Based in Hampton East within the Bayside Area, this full-time opportunity places you at the heart of our merchandise function across Australia and New Zealand, where you will play a vital role in shaping our brand’s presence in the market.
In this key role, you will be principally responsible for the product assortment across Women’s Bottoms, Women’s Tops, and Accessories. By leveraging your deep understanding of the retail landscape, you will help guide our product strategy and ensure our offerings align with both consumer expectations and commercial goals.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Providing an educated point of view on the consumer, local market dynamics, and cultural influences to inform our product strategies.
- Monitoring trend developments and conducting thorough competitor and marketplace intelligence analysis.
- Translating valuable market insights into actionable briefs for market requirements.
- Driving a comprehensive product assortment designed to meet commercial targets and deliver profitability.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to support the broader merchandising and brand objectives throughout the region.
