Environmental Services Manager

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Manager (Account Manager) to lead dedicated housekeeping, laundry, and floor care teams at a long-term care facility in Montgomery, TX. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for fostering a positive, service-oriented environment while ensuring that all department operations meet high standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing, supervising, and supporting housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff across varying shifts, ensuring adherence to facility policies and federal or state requirements.
• Leading and performing hands-on light and heavy housekeeping, as well as laundry aide duties as needed.
• Facilitating staff training, quality control checks, and in-service sessions to ensure timely completion of daily projects and programs.
• Maintaining accurate records for income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment utilizing HCSG computer software.
• Serving as a key liaison between building administrators, residents, and HCSG staff to communicate directives effectively.
• Ensuring workplace safety by using protective gear correctly, following proper protocols for cleaning solutions, and maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications and physical requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with prior experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision.
• Effective communication skills and a positive attitude when interacting with residents, facility administration, and team members.
• Compliance with applicable COVID-19 vaccination policies and residency within the local service area.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, and to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods while performing continuous routine and repetitive tasks.
• Comfort working around food service and various cleaning products while following oral and written instructions.
