Optum is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Physician – Generalist to join our team in Tucson, AZ. In this role, you will provide comprehensive women’s health services to the local community. Your practice will encompass a balanced mix of office services, deliveries, and inpatient or outpatient surgical procedures. You will be supported by robust diagnostic testing facilities and a full complement of care teams designed to assist you in delivering high-quality, patient-centered medicine.

Primary responsibilities for this position include:

Delivering comprehensive women’s health care through clinical office visits, obstetrical deliveries, and surgical procedures.
Managing a standard clinic and office schedule with designated time built in for hospital rounding.
Practicing full-scope gynecology, including major and minor procedures and minimally invasive surgeries.
Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary care teams and utilizing shared electronic medical records to ensure coordinated patient care.
Focusing on quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and evidence-based medical practices.

To qualify for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Possess an unrestricted medical license in the state of Arizona or have an application in process.
Be board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Hold an active and unrestricted DEA license or obtain one prior to the start of employment.
Successfully pass pre-employment screenings, including a drug test, in accordance with our status as a drug-free workplace.
