Optum is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our clinician-led care organization in Dallas, TX. As a member of the Optum Care Delivery team, you will play an integral role in our vision to make healthcare better for everyone, backed by the clinical resources, data, and support of a global organization.
In this outpatient role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing patient care, conducting consults and follow-up appointments, performing well-checks, and scheduling screenings. You will be comfortable seeing patients of all ages, with a primary focus on an adult and senior patient base. The schedule is designed to support a balanced workflow with an average daily patient census of 18 to 20 patients, featuring 40-minute new patient appointments and 20-minute follow-up visits, supported by a dedicated team of nurses and medical assistants.
Position highlights include a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no on-call duties and no weekends. The annual salary range for this full-time role is $229,500 to $378,000, determined by factors such as local labor markets, education, and experience.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Unrestricted State Medical License
- Current DEA certificate
- EMR proficiency
