Christus Trinity Clinic Anesthesiology is seeking two full-time Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists to join its well-established department with over 18 years of practice in Tyler, Texas. This opportunity is open to both candidates newly completing their training and experienced physicians looking for a change, with partial FTE options (0.5, 0.75, or 0.8) also available. Job openings begin in January 2025.
As part of a rapidly growing department that supports inpatient and outpatient surgery, GI endoscopy, electrophysiology, OB, pulmonary, radiology, and surgical oncology, you will work in a cohesive environment alongside experienced physicians and CRNAs. The group consists of over 25 physicians and more than 65 CRNAs, engaging in 85% medical direction and 15% solo cases, with no medical supervision required.
Key responsibilities and call details include:
- Participating in a balanced and fair call schedule, including general call, beeper call, and weekend call structures
- Working collaboratively within a team-oriented department that values fairness in daily assignments and production without case cherry-picking
- Delivering high-quality patient care in a faith-based, not-for-profit multi-specialty medical group
- Utilizing the Epic electronic medical record system in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Qualifications required for this position:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Fellowship trained in Cardiovascular Anesthesiology
- Eligible for or holding a valid Texas Medical License
