Shift Lead – Decatur

DashMart is looking for a motivated Shift Lead for our location in Decatur. DashMart is a local-fulfillment center owned and operated by DoorDash, offering customers household essentials and other items delivered directly to their doorsteps with speed, reliability, and quality. In this role, you will work within a local fulfillment center supporting Site Management in running great shifts, delegating tasks, and maintaining inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Depending on site needs, responsibilities may also include light-prep kitchen duties.

Key responsibilities include:

• Taking ownership of assigned shifts, including warehouse and kitchen processes, safety, cleanliness, quality, and training while protecting company assets.
• Ensuring customer orders are executed accurately, communicating effectively when issues arise, and facilitating smooth pickups for Dashers.
• Guiding Operations Associates through their shifts to ensure safe and productive teamwork, serving as a point of escalation for daily operations.
• Supporting day-to-day operations in both the warehouse and kitchen by leading by example and fostering a respectful team atmosphere.
• Contributing ideas to continuously improve operational quality and the overall customer experience.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• A proven track record of success in food and beverage, warehouse, and/or retail environments.
• The physical ability to stand, move heavy products, and lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation, as well as operate a pallet jack and hand truck.
• The ability and desire to obtain and maintain a food handling certificate, with training provided by DoorDash.
• Organization skills and proficiency in using Google Docs and Google Sheets.
• A flexible schedule to accommodate various shift requirements throughout the week.

Compensation and benefits for this role include a base pay rate of $19.80 per hour, market competitive pay, performance-based pay increases twice a year, paid time off, sick leave, and comprehensive health benefits starting on Day 1 (Medical, Dental, and Vision).
