About this job
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Account Executive to join our team and help expand our network of Retail SMBs. This is a phenomenal opportunity to demonstrate your sales skills, leverage your deep understanding of the local retail landscape in Mexico, and empower small businesses by building the best strategic partnerships.
In this role, your primary focus will be bringing on new retail merchants across different cities who fit our partnership criteria. You will utilize your expertise in pitching, negotiating, and driving internal processes to set every partnership up for long-term success.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the Full Sales Cycle: Identify, prospect, and close new partnerships with high-potential local retailers, managing the entire process from initial cold outreach to contract signature.
- Strategic Territory Management: Analyze market trends and data to identify best-in-class shops in your city, building a robust pipeline that consistently meets monthly and quarterly targets.
- Negotiate and Consult: Conduct high-impact sales pitches and negotiate commercial terms directly with business owners, acting as a trusted consultant to communicate the value of the partnership.
- Drive Operational Success: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Onboarding, and Legal to resolve bottlenecks and ensure new partners launch smoothly and quickly.
What You’ll Need:
- Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in B2B sales, cold calling, business development, or account management.
- Track Record: A proven ability to successfully manage a full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, specifically targeting Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs).
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience using CRM software like Salesforce or HubSpot, alongside strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Previous experience in the retail industry, high-growth startup environments, analytical tools like Excel or Tableau, established local retail networks, formal sales methodologies, and complex operational coordination.
Offices remain central to collaboration and our cultural identity. Unless formally approved to work fully remotely, employees are expected to spend at least half of their work time in their assigned office. For certain roles, in-office presence may be required 100% of the time, and you can speak with your recruiter to understand the specific expectations for this position.
Accommodations may be available based on religious and/or medical conditions, or as required by applicable law. To request an accommodation, please reach out directly to the provided contact channels.
