We are currently seeking a motivated Lead Installer to join our construction crew. In this role, you will work as part of a team to complete residential solar installation projects while taking on the additional responsibility of guiding and coordinating fellow installers on a daily basis. You will also have access to competitive hourly base pay ranging from $26.40 to $35.21, alongside lucrative performance incentives through our Nike/Carhartt sponsored incentive program, The League.

Key responsibilities for the Lead Installer include:

  • Reviewing inventory at the loading dock to ensure assigned crew trucks are stocked adequately.
  • Laying out and assembling solar modules, mechanical and structural mounts, electrical equipment, and tools.
  • Applying weather sealing to roofing structures, buildings, or support mechanisms.
  • Ensuring a clean, orderly job site and performing thorough project clean-up.
  • Leading the crew through safe, effective, and efficient installations while providing technical expertise and support.
  • Participating in mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology, and safety.
  • Assisting with solar battery installations and serving as an acting foreperson in their absence when needed.

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous solar installation experience, or equivalent construction or military experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check.
  • Strong adherence to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to establish rapport, build relationships, and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
  • Willingness to participate in the Power+ program and support cross-training efforts.
  • Physical ability to transport materials and equipment up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to work on rooftops with various angles, in confined spaces, and in various outdoor weather conditions.
