Alaska Regional Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Coordinator Cardiac Surgical Step Down Nights RN in the Eagle River and Anchorage area. This is a part-time position with an annual salary of $75,269.

In this role, you will help coordinate patient care and support our specialized cardiac surgical intermediate care unit during night shifts, ensuring high standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Providing direct, specialized nursing care to patients in a cardiac surgical step-down or intermediate care setting during night shifts.
- Collaborating with physicians, multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and staff to coordinate comprehensive patient treatment plans.
- Monitoring patient vitals, assessing clinical conditions, and responding promptly to changes in status.
- Assisting with unit coordination, workflow management, and mentoring nursing staff as needed.
- Educating patients and their families regarding post-operative care, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions.
