Halfords is currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team at the Dunnikier Park location in Kirkcaldy. As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester at Halfords, your day-to-day responsibilities will typically involve conducting thorough MOT tests, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, servicing various makes and models of vehicles, and carrying out routine repairs to the highest standards. You will work closely with your team members to ensure efficient workshop operations and clear communication with customers regarding their vehicle needs.
This position is offered on a full-time schedule covering 5 days a week, with the added benefit that this centre is closed on Sundays to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance. The compensation package includes:
- A competitive base salary of £37,000 per year.
- An uncapped monthly bonus scheme, with average additional earnings bringing on-target earnings up to £43,200 per year.
- The opportunity to earn extra through our refer a friend scheme, subject to terms and conditions.
