Skilled Nursing is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Midwife for an exciting short-term contract opportunity located in Gladstone, within the Central Queensland region. This temporary placement runs from 18/06/2026 to 10/08/2026, offering a rewarding chance to support a regional maternity and obstetrics team during this specified period.
In this role, you will be providing high-standard clinical care within a hospital environment. Your day-to-day duties will naturally involve working closely with expectant mothers and newborns, ensuring safety, comfort, and clinical excellence across key departments.
Key skills and experience required for this position include:
- Demonstrated clinical experience in Maternity
- Proficiency in Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation
- Hands-on experience working within a Birth Suite
- A minimum of 12 months of professional nursing and midwifery experience
