AMN Healthcare is currently seeking a qualified Breast Imaging Radiologist for a position with UT Health San Antonio in Balcones Heights, Bexar County, with an ASAP start date. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading academic health center in a full-time faculty appointment.
In this role, the selected professional will be responsible for a combination of clinical services and teaching duties across prominent healthcare facilities, including the Mays Cancer Center, the Robert B. Green Clinic, the University Health System, and associated hospital and practice plan clinical locations.
Key responsibilities and professional expectations for this position generally include:
- Performing and interpreting specialized breast imaging diagnostic procedures, such as mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI.
- Participating in multidisciplinary patient care conferences and collaborating with oncology, surgery, and pathology teams.
- Engaging in the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows within the academic environment.
- Maintaining high standards of clinical documentation, patient care quality, and departmental safety protocols.
Compensation for this role is listed at $94,954 per year. Candidates should possess the necessary medical licensure, board certifications, and specialized training in breast imaging to meet the academic and clinical demands of UT Health San Antonio.
