Weatherby Healthcare is currently seeking a qualified neurologist for an exciting locum tenens opportunity located in Zionsville, Boone County, Indiana. This position offers a dedicated salary of $124,548 per year, along with comprehensive support to ensure a seamless assignment.
In this role, you will provide 100% neurohospitalist coverage, managing approximately 10 to 14 patients on a daily basis. The schedule involves a 24-hour call rotation running from Monday morning to Monday morning. You will be responsible for handling a variety of specialized neurological care duties and procedures in a fast-paced facility environment.
Key responsibilities and requirements for this position include:
- Providing comprehensive inpatient neurological care and consultations
- Performing stroke management, EEGs, lumbar punctures, and tPA procedures
- Directing critical decisions regarding thrombectomy procedures
- Maintaining active ACLS certification and relevant stroke experience
