RSL Care RDNS Limited, operating as part of the Bolton Clarke Group, is currently seeking a dedicated Care Services Assistant to join our team in the Sydney Region, New South Wales. As one of Australia’s largest independent, not-for-profit providers of home care, retirement living, and residential aged care, our national network now encompasses 88 Aged Care Homes across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and Western Australia following the integration of Allity, McKenzie, and Acacia Living Group.
This is a pivotal frontline carer position focused heavily on nutrition and dining. In this role, you will play a direct part in enhancing the daily lives of our residents, ensuring mealtimes are supportive, engaging, and tailored to individual needs so that every resident can live a life of fulfillment and dignity.
Key responsibilities in this role typically include:
- Assisting residents with meals and dining support, ensuring nutritional and hydration needs are met in a compassionate manner.
- Creating a welcoming, safe, and social dining environment within our residential aged care community.
- Collaborating closely with care and catering teams to communicate specific dietary requirements, preferences, and feedback.
- Promoting person-centred care by encouraging resident independence and choice during meal times and daily support activities.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic dining and service area in accordance with organizational policies and health standards.
