UCHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team at its Longs Peak Hospital campus in the Glendale/Denver metro area. This full‑time, onsite position requires a commitment to delivering safe, high‑quality peri‑operative care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The role follows a day‑shift schedule of 80 hours per two‑week pay period and offers an hourly pay range of $38.91 to $60.31, commensurate with relevant experience, which translates to an annualized salary of approximately $78,269.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field for a variety of surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers with instrumentation, supplies, and patient positioning.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to intra‑operative changes.
- Document peri‑operative care accurately in the electronic health record.
- Participate in surgical counts, time‑outs, and safety checks per institutional policy.
Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited or state‑board‑approved Registered Nursing program and current Colorado RN licensure. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to function calmly under pressure in a fast‑paced operating room setting.
