MSD is seeking an experienced Specialist, Technology Partnership to lead and enhance our IT end‑user support services in Singapore. In this full‑time role you will play a key part in ensuring that our technology infrastructure operates smoothly and that our staff receive timely, effective assistance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the day‑to‑day operation of IT end‑user support, ensuring that all incidents and requests are resolved within agreed service levels.
- Managing the IT asset lifecycle, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Coordinating with IT contractors and internal teams to guarantee that all support activities meet SLA requirements.
- Collaborating closely with global and regional support teams to align local initiatives with broader corporate objectives.
- Providing guidance, mentorship, and training to junior staff and contractors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assisting the Team or Country leader in planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
- Reviewing and approving deliverables produced by junior staff, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project goals.
- Participating in the development and refinement of support processes, tools, and documentation to enhance service delivery.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience in IT support, asset management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of incident and request management processes, preferably with familiarity of ITIL or equivalent frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with contractors and cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; additional languages are an advantage.
- Proven mentoring or training experience, with a focus on developing junior talent.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and data‑driven decision making.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders.
