We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Domestic Technician to join our team in Queenstown, Otago.
As a Domestic Technician with Indie Campers, you will play a key role in ensuring our fleet of campervans meets the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and readiness for our customers. You will be an essential part of the local operations team, helping to deliver seamless road trip experiences for travelers embarking on their adventures.
Key responsibilities in this role typically include:
- Preparing, cleaning, and detailing campervans between rentals to ensure they meet company quality and safety standards.
- Conducting routine maintenance, checks, and minor repairs on vehicle interiors and onboard appliances.
- Managing inventory of vehicle equipment, cleaning supplies, and replacement parts.
- Assisting with the check-in and check-out processes for travelers, providing a welcoming and helpful customer service experience.
- Troubleshooting technical issues related to campervan domestic systems and reporting major maintenance needs to management.
What we are looking for in a candidate:
- A strong work ethic with a hands-on approach and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of a growing travel and vehicle-sharing platform.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred.
