Metal Technologies México is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Coordinador de Manufactura in San Luis Potosí, México. In this key role, you will oversee manufacturing operations, lead personnel, and drive process improvements within a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Managing and leading manufacturing personnel to ensure efficient production schedules and operational goals are met.
- Applying data-driven decision-making to optimize shop floor performance and productivity.
- Participating actively in the development of new projects using APQP and PPAP methodologies.
- Facilitating effective problem-solving processes utilizing tools such as 8Ds, 5 Whys, PDCA, and Ishikawa diagrams.
- Working directly with machined equipment, including CNC machines and lathes.
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards through internal and external audits.
To be considered for the Coordinador de Manufactura role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience working within the metal-mechanic and/or automotive industry.
- Demonstrated experience conducting audits in accordance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
- Strong command of Core Tools, including APQP, FMEA (AMEFP), PPAP, MSA, and SPC.
- Proven track record in personnel management and leadership.
- Technical proficiency including knowledge of AutoCAD and related software tools.
- Ability to solve complex manufacturing problems and make sound, data-backed decisions.
