Fusion Medical Staffing is currently seeking a skilled Stepdown Registered Nurse for an exciting 13-week travel assignment at a facility located in the Woodway and Waco, Texas area. Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Monitoring and assessing patients with acute medical conditions and stepdown-level needs
- Administering medications, treatments, and managing intravenous lines
- Recording vital signs, observing patient changes, and reporting critical information to physicians
- Educating patients and their families regarding ongoing care and post-discharge instructions
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient charting and medical records
Required qualifications and credentials for applicants:
- Minimum of one year of recent professional experience working as a Stepdown RN
- Current, valid Registered Nurse license
- Ability to fulfill the commitments of a 13-week travel healthcare contract
