Blenheim Schools is currently seeking an After School Care Assistant to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis located in Coulsdon North, Coulsdon. This is a 15 hours per week role with a salary of £7,931 per annum, scheduled to start in September 2026. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our after-school provision, helping to create a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment where pupils can thrive outside of regular classroom hours. You will assist in supervising children, supporting recreational activities, and ensuring their overall wellbeing and safety at the end of the school day.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Supervising students during after-school sessions to ensure a safe and positive environment.
- Assisting with the setup, delivery, and cleanup of engaging activities, games, and play opportunities.
- Supporting children with snack times and helping maintain tidy communal areas.
- Communicating effectively and professionally with school staff, parents, and carers regarding children’s needs and pick-up arrangements.
- Upholding school policies regarding safeguarding, health and safety, and pupil behavior management.
