MedicalJobsAustralia is seeking a dedicated and reliable Allied Health Assistant to join our team on a part-time, temporary basis. In this position, you will work closely with qualified practitioners to assist in the implementation of therapeutic programs, patient care activities, and administrative tasks. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting positive health outcomes for individuals accessing our services.
Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Assisting allied health professionals with the delivery of therapy and treatment programs
- Preparing and maintaining treatment areas, equipment, and resources
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintaining accurate documentation and client records in accordance with organizational policies
- Supporting patients during therapeutic exercises and daily activities
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. A relevant background or qualification in health support, allied health assistance, or a related discipline is highly regarded.
This is a part-time position scheduled for 30 hours per week, running on a temporary contract basis up to 31 January. The position is compensated at a pro-rata rate based on an annual salary of $67,979, with additional benefits including superannuation and salary sacrifice options available.
