Global Medical Response is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional for the full-time position of Associate General Counsel (VP). Based on-site in the Rowlett and Dallas area, this leadership role is ideal for a skilled legal expert ready to make a significant impact within a dynamic corporate environment.
In this capacity, you will oversee the organization’s legal compliance with US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting obligations. As a trusted advisor, you will guide public company strategy and its execution, manage outside counsel relationships, and play a direct, hands-on role in complex financings and high-impact business transactions.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Managing and preparing SEC filings, including periodic reports, proxy statements, and registration statements.
- Advising executive leadership and the board of directors on securities laws, corporate governance matters, and stock administration.
- Providing strategic legal counsel on corporate finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and other major business initiatives.
- Coordinating and directing outside legal counsel to ensure cost-effective and high-quality support for corporate objectives.
- Monitoring regulatory developments and industry trends to ensure proactive compliance and risk mitigation.
The starting salary for this full-time position is established at $242,098 per year. Candidates should possess strong legal expertise in securities regulation, corporate governance, and transaction management, along with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
