This is a hybrid role requiring an individual to be in the office four days per week. Eligible locations include San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, or Tampa, FL. Please note that relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available for this position.
What you’ll do:
- Leverage advanced analytics to identify emerging and non-traditional risks, translating macroeconomic, policy, and industry shifts into actionable credit risk strategies.
- Lead analyses to identify root causes and develop clear recommendations to drive credit risk strategy development and influence senior decision-makers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design and execute complex financial risk sensitivity analyses and develop comprehensive risk and financial reporting.
- Apply expert programming and analytical techniques using tools like SQL and SAS to analyze credit data and support first-party fraud identification.
- Provide thought leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members regarding advanced analytics, modeling infrastructure, and risk management best practices.
- Ensure all business activities comply with relevant risk and compliance policies, federal laws, and regulatory guidance.
What you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree, OR a minimum of 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
- Either 8 years of experience in an analytical field focused on leading analytical projects, advanced analytics, and risk assessments, OR an advanced degree in a relevant discipline (such as Business Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a mathematical field) combined with 6 years of comparable experience.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations, risk, compliance, and federal laws including FCRA, Reg B, UDAAP/UDAP, and OCC guidelines.
- Advanced presentation, communication, and business acumen skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, SAS, and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Compensation and Benefits:
- The salary range for this position is $164,780 to $314,960, with actual pay determined by experience, market data, and location.
- Employees may be eligible for performance-based pay incentives.
