As a Casual Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering this commitment to our local customers and their pets every single day.
This is a junior-level casual opportunity suited for someone with a passion for animals, a strong customer-first attitude, and a desire to build a career in retail. Daily responsibilities in this role typically include:
- Greeting customers warmly and offering knowledgeable assistance with pet care products, nutrition, and accessories
- Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and handling transactions accurately
- Restocking shelves, maintaining merchandising standards, and keeping the sales floor clean, safe, and organized
- Assisting with inventory control, stock rotations, and receiving deliveries
- Continuously developing your product knowledge to provide the best possible advice to pet owners
