We are currently seeking a dedicated Centre Cook to join the team at our Goodstart East Bunbury location, situated at 17 Herbert Road, East Bunbury, WA. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering an attractive salary range of A$65,230 to A$73,720 per year (pro-rata).
In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and providing nutritious, appealing meals that meet the dietary and developmental needs of the children in our care. You will work within a supportive, community-focused environment where your contribution directly impacts the health and wellbeing of our children.
Key responsibilities for the Centre Cook role include:
- Planning and preparing healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children
- Managing kitchen operations in accordance with strict food safety, hygiene, and nutritional guidelines
- Accommodating various dietary requirements, allergies, and cultural needs
- Ordering food supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining budgetary controls
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate a passion for preparing wholesome food for children, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene and safety. Relevant culinary experience and appropriate food safety certifications are essential.
