Manooka Valley Community Preschool 0-5 is seeking a dedicated and passionate Certificate III Educator to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. Located in Currans Hill within the Camden area, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of young children in a supportive community environment.
As a valued member of our team, you will work 38 hours per week, scheduled Monday to Friday at 7.6 hours per day. Working with us means experiencing the trust placed in your expertise, along with the freedom to use your professional judgment, adapt learning approaches, and bring creativity and playfulness to every child’s day.
Key responsibilities in this role typically include:
- Assisting in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of engaging educational programs for children aged 0 to 5 years.
- Building and maintaining positive, meaningful relationships with children, families, and educational peers.
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing indoor and outdoor learning environment that encourages exploration and play.
- Observing and recording children’s development and progress in accordance with early childhood frameworks.
- Working collaboratively as part of a dedicated team to support the daily operations and values of the preschool.
To be successful in this position, you will hold the relevant Certificate III qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care. You will also bring a genuine passion for early childhood education, strong communication skills, and a commitment to fostering rich, rewarding shared experiences for children and their families.
