Aviva is currently seeking a dedicated Commercial Motor Claims Handler to join our expanding Commercial Lines Motor Claims Team on a full-time basis, located in South Wootton, King’s Lynn. The salary for this role is £33,926 per year, alongside additional benefits to support your professional journey.

In this role, you will be an integral part of our claims team, where your day-to-day responsibilities will typically involve:
- Managing a portfolio of commercial motor claims from initial notification through to prompt and fair settlement.
- Liaising with policyholders, third parties, brokers, and suppliers via various communication channels with a high standard of customer service.
- Assessing policy coverage, liability, and quantum to make accurate decisions on claims validity.
- Negotiating settlements and managing recovery opportunities efficiently while adhering to regulatory requirements and internal company guidelines.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case notes and records on our internal systems.
To be successful in this position, you should bring strong communication and negotiation skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage your workload effectively in a fast-paced setting. A background in customer service, insurance, or general claims handling will serve you well as you collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellent outcomes for our customers.
