In this role, every conversation you have helps shape real decisions. As a Field Interviewer, you will be out in your local area speaking to people face-to-face, primarily conducting doorstep interviews and surveys to gather vital public opinion data. A reliable car is required for this position to help you travel efficiently across your designated area to reach respondents.
Key responsibilities and expectations for the role include:
- Traveling across the local North Berwick and East Lothian area using your own vehicle to conduct face-to-face interviews.
- Approaching members of the public politely and professionally to invite their participation in important market and social research studies.
- Accurately recording responses and feedback using digital devices or paper questionnaires in accordance with project guidelines.
- Managing your schedule flexibly to meet project deadlines and maximise response rates at various times of the day.
- Representing Ipsos with a friendly, approachable, and respectful demeanor at all times.
This part-time position offers a competitive salary range of £35,360 to £39,520 per year (pro-rata, commensurate with hours). We are looking for self-motivated individuals with strong interpersonal skills, a professional attitude, and the necessary transport to cover the required geographical area.
