Macmahon is seeking a motivated individual for a Graduate Opportunity in Organisational Development, based in Middle Swan within the Swan Area. This is a part-time position offering an exciting entry point into the mining and civil contracting sector, where you will join a collaborative and forward-thinking team designed for long-term success.
As part of our Group and Shared Services team, you will support our operating companies in thriving through effective governance, compliance, and strategic initiatives. This role provides broad exposure across the business, allowing you to build foundational experience in organisational development while working alongside experienced professionals dedicated to operational excellence.
In this graduate role, your typical day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with the design, implementation, and evaluation of organisational development programs and initiatives
- Supporting talent management, training, and employee engagement processes
- Collaborating with team members to drive continuous improvement in governance and compliance
- Assisting in the coordination of strategic support projects across various operating companies
- Analysing data and preparing reports to support HR and organisational development strategies
- Participating in team meetings and contributing fresh ideas to support business growth
To be successful in this position, you should possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business, or a related field. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, a proactive approach to learning, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A genuine interest in the mining and civil contracting industry will be highly regarded.
