Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Assessing, monitoring, and caring for patients during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
- Collaborating closely with physicians, obstetricians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administering medications and performing clinical interventions as ordered, while closely monitoring maternal and fetal vitals.
- Educating patients and their families on labor progression, pain management options, newborn care, and recovery.
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic health records of patient status, treatments, and responses to care.
- Responding swiftly and effectively to obstetrical emergencies to ensure the safety of both mother and baby.
Compensation details for this position include a salary of $60,185 per year. Candidates must hold a valid Registered Nurse license and possess the professional dedication required to uphold our high standards of clinical excellence and patient outcomes.
